Youth "LEAD" Program Through ICA
The Youth “LEAD” (Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Action, Development) program, a cornerstone initiative under the ICA Impact Initiatives, aims to cultivate life skills, values, and leadership qualities in the next generation of leaders. Originally conceived in 2020, the program faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic but was successfully launched in 2022. Designed as a summer opportunity spanning 2-3 weeks, it targets High School Students and College Undergraduates. Participants will engage with one of ICA’s partner NGOs in India, benefiting from a rigorously planned daily agenda. This immersive experience offers a comprehensive exposure to local culture, enables direct interactions with community leaders, and provides a deeper understanding of the operational environment of NGOs. Through this program, students not only enhance their leadership and entrepreneurial skills but also gain valuable on-ground experience that enriches their personal and professional growth.
