Golden Jubilee Event

On October 20th, at the Santa Clara Convention Center, ICA's Golden Jubilee Conference brought together visionaries from India and the US, celebrating 50 years of social activism. The event focused on women, youth, environment, and health, offering an opportunity to connect with inspiring social entrepreneurs, exchange ideas, and learn how individuals can contribute to positive change.

The day featured keynote speakers like Dr. Bharat Vatwani, recipient of the Ramon Magsaysay Award, Dr. Janak Palta, a renowned social activist, and Lijo Chacko, a former submarine commander turned social entrepreneur. Panels addressed pressing issues, including water scarcity, youth empowerment, healthcare in underserved regions, and women's economic and social stability. Notable speakers included activists, doctors, and educators such as Dr. Anagha Amte, Avijit Michael, and Anand Kumar, among others.

Attendees enjoyed engaging discussions, networking opportunities, and a gala dinner honoring outstanding individuals, including Dr. Girish Kulkarni of Snehalaya and Lata Krishnan of the American India Foundation. The conference was an inspiring celebration of impactful work and a call to action for continued social development.

For those interested in supporting ICA's ongoing initiatives, sponsorship opportunities were available, helping to set the agenda for the next decade of social progress in India.
